Sentiment analysis is a natural language processing (NLP) technique used to determine and evaluate the sentiment or emotional tone expressed in a piece of text, such as a sentence, paragraph, or document. The goal of sentiment analysis is to categorize the sentiment as positive, negative, or neutral, and sometimes further categorize it into more fine-grained emotions like happiness, sadness, anger, or surprise.
